Blue Hues & Sparkly Shoes

Afternoon ladies! I had a wonderful day in Hollywood with my BFF ( aka my momma :) ) where we shopped, grabbed brunch out by the Kodak Theater, and enjoyed a beautiful day together. I was feeling very girly today and wanted to rock these hott, new heels I just snagged online. I honestly feel like women don't rock daring, sexy high heels enough just for fun, so I decided to mix things up from my comfortable little sandals and work these sparkly shoes all day long! The blue, sheer button-up looks great paired with some black leggings and a black bra (or bandeau/tank if not comfortable,) and the messy bun compliments the blazer into a more relaxed look.

Where to Wear This:
Well, if you want to just have a girly shopping day like me, I say rock this look wherever your heart desires! But if you feel this is a little dressed up for your normal day, I would pair this look with some great flats or sandals; but personally, I think the heels make the look! You could wear the original outfit out to dinner with the girls due to it's fun and flirty, yet comfortable approach, or even just out to the movies. Just don't feel too intimidated or too shy to rock that sexy pair of heels you've had sitting in your closet for days; take the liberty of being a woman and work those heels with power!
kisses, Em

Casual Class

Hello darlings! I got the amazing privilege to be able to see the Grove in West Hollywood! It was absolutely gorgeous and such a fun experience. Since I knew I'd be among the stars, I decided to make a POP in red but also keep it nice and classy. I paired my casual, comfortable maxi dress with a black blazer, great sandals, and a fabulous eye-catching necklace. This easy little outfit is so great because it not only dazzles but is so comfortable as well :)

Where to Wear This:
This classy little ensemble would look great just about anywhere, especially if you want to make a statement without going overkill. This would also look great for a job interview or going out with the girls for the day/night! Always remember that some of your simplest pieces could be an excellent combo with your blazer and don't shy away from glamming your look up with some fun accessories or shoes!

Touched By An Angel

Hello loves! While I was in La La Land and uncontrollably starstruck by the Hollywood glitz and glam, I got an amazing opportunity to meet two of my favorite models of all time, Candice Swanepoel and Miranda Kerr! Such a dream come true, because I, like every girl in the world, has had a lifelong dream of becoming a Victoria's Secret model, so seeing these beauties in person was quite a treat! Since I was sooo very excited for this amazing opportunity, I couldn't help myself but do a little shopping for the event :) I mean come on, I had to look amazing meeting these girls! I found this white hot dress at this adorable little boutique, Black Jack, and assembled it with my own closet pieces. I spiced my look up with these great, chunky heels, and dressed it down with an a-line, cropped jean shirt to use as my sweater, and threw on a great statement necklace to match my coral-orange shoes.

Where to Wear This:
This is a great outfit to wear out on a date with your loved one, out to the club with the girls, or out to lunch with friends. Whenever you feel like looking super fiinee but still want to keep things casual, try pairing a hot dress with some more casual pieces, and you'll be ready to rock the town :)
kisses, Em

Starstruck

Morning darlings! So this week has been quite eventful for me because I FINALLY went to Hollywood for the very first time! What an amazing trip it was; celebrities, the Walk of Fame, the Grove, and lots of fun shopping of course! I was absolutely dying to check out Rodeo Drive, but sadly didn't have enough time in the day! But no worries I will do a little fashion photoshoot there soon enough ;) I, like every other tourist, was infatuated with the Walk of Fame and couldn't get enough! I took advantage of the Hollywood scenery and snapped a few pics here for my latest blog entry :) My first day in Hollywood I felt like rocking a sexy, bold fit. Who ever said looking like a star was only for the celebrities?? ;) I paired a sexy little bandeau with a sweet and girly black vest. The sheer lace at the bottom really adds a fun and trendy vibe to the outfit, especially since sheer lace and chiffon are so in right now! I then wore some high-waisted black shorts underneath, and finished my outfit off with some black booties, a black/gold purse, and some fun, chunky gold jewelry.

Where to Wear This:
So if you happen to be hitting the streets of Hollywood like me, then I, of course, would rock this bold little number there! If not, then not to worry, this sexy-sweet ensemble would look great going out with the ladies, out shopping, or just when you straight up feel like looking hott on the weekend. I promise you'll be feeling like a STAR! ;)
kisses, Em

Flowy Shirts & Maxi Skirts

Good afternoon ladies! I have to say that I am absolutely in LOVE with maxi skirts lately. Who doesn't want to feel both comfortable and fabulous all at once? These skirts are the best and add a beautiful femininity to your daily wardrobe. I paired my maxi with a beautiful, flowy top that has a surprise open back, (who doesn't love that?!) Under my tank, I threw on a sweet little bandeau to cover up my bra, but hey, if you got it, flaunt it! Having a bare back is so sexy these days and will definitely add some sex appeal to your look. If that's a little much, feel free to sport a black strapless bra which would still look great! To top off my comfy fit, I threw on some simple gold jewelry and some combat boots to finish the laid-back style I had created. Everyone should definitely invest in some maxi skirts ASAP, especially with spring and summer heading our way! These little gems will really accent your wardrobe and give your looks a feminine flair.

Where to Wear This:
Since this outfit is definitely on the laid-back end of things, you could wear this just about anywhere! If it's a bit chilly outside, pair with a long brown/black sweater to keep things sweet and simple. Enjoy lounging around while still looking gorgeous all day long!

Southern Livin'

Howdy ya'll! Today was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't help but take advantage of the gorgeous scenery I found at the barn today. I have always been a cowgirl at heart, so this style of clothing is right up my alley. I decided to slip on some rugged cowgirl boots, some high-waisted shorts, a french-inspired tank, and a jean button-up shirt that plays on the "all-American girl" vibe. Since jean button-up shirts (especially asymmetrical styles) and high-waisted shorts are thriving right now, I decided to grab these easy looks from a local thrift store and cut and modernized them into something new :) By cutting the high-waisted pants into flirty shorts, and by cuffing the jean button-up shirt into a sweater, I was able to create a great girl-next-door look.

Where to Wear This:
Ladies, this casual summer look is great to wear out and about with friends, off to lunch, or better yet, off to the barn like me ;) Rocking the red, white, and blue adds a fun, spirited look  during the summer, especially around the 4th of July! So start collecting these easy staples into your closets so you're prepared to work it all summer long :)

Bring Me Spring!

Hello again loves! I have missed you all! School's been quite busy for me but don't think that I ever forgot about you! ;) The 70 degree weather has been beautiful lately and has got me hyped for spring and summer. So I just couldn't help myself but dress accordingly and give you a taste of what's going to be suppaa hott this summer! I decided to pair an orange button-up top (since it's still a weee bit nippy outside) and cuff the sleeves to look a little more "laid-back." Feel free to do this to any of your button-up tops, whether they are dressy or not, they will both work great! High-waisted shorts are allll the buzz right now and we are definitely going to be seeing much more of them this coming season. I paired mine with an indian inspired belt, gold jewelry, and some fabulous, chunky heels that add a fun and hip flair to my outfit. Chunky, platform heels are also very trendy right now and are going to head well over into the summer weather, so make sure to grab a pair next time you're out and about! Go ahead and stretch your comfort zone and feel free to play around with lots of color!

Where to wear this:
This is such a fun, flirty outfit to wear just about anywhere, especially during the summer! Whether you're out with friends or out to lunch with that special someone, there really aren't many limitations on where you can rock this! So start collecting these essential summer pieces so you're ready for summer and are the most admired girl in the crowd :) You won't be sorry!
kisses, Em

Crimson

Crimson red is always a fun color to play around with in style. Whether is symbolizes love, beauty, or sex-appeal, there is always something alluring about it. I decided to transform this crimson red look into a more relaxed, boho-style with a bit of an edge. Bright, colorful pants are very trendy right now and really add a fun spunk to your outfits. By matching the pants with the same color top, a pull-over button down, and some great (must-have) combat boots this look is immediately transformed into a simple but hip style. Who doesn't love an easy-breezy look that draws the eyes? ;)

Where to wear this:
The great thing about this outfit is that it is so easy to wear just about anywhere. Thanks to the accessibility of the multi-layering, you can easily pull off the sweater and button-down for warmer weather and vise-versa. I love the easy and carefree spirit this look entails because it really allows you to rock this when going off to school, out with friends, to a movie, etc. And remember if you feel like the crop top is a bit too revealing, you could always wear a fun tank instead or just button the shirt up and you're ready to go! :)

Cat Woman

Hola fashionistas! Is anyone else super obsessed with furs like me? Faux furs, of course ;) I just snagged this great little cheetah print coat from a vintage store and am LOVING it! Cheetah prints are so fun and stylish to play around with, and can really give an everyday outfit a lift with some spunky purrrrrsonality (sorry, had to do it ;)) When using cheetah prints though, always remember that too many spots can be a little too overwhelming--so keep your outfit clean and simple, with a statement cheetah print to glam up your look.

Where to Wear This:
Personally, I rocked this outfit on one of those, I-just-want-to-feel-fabulous days and loved every second of it! This is one of those fun, simple looks that you could wear out on a hott date, off to a girls night out, shopping out and about, or just because (like me!) :) Feel free to let that inner cat woman out and work this look with confidence. Cheetah prints always give off a fun, sex-appeal so I promise you you'll be feeling sexy and powerful with this fierce look! Top off your fit with a killer gold collar and some great sunny's and you're ready to conquer the world. Go rock it ladies!
kisses, Em
